Alvin "Al" Hamilton
Alvin "Al" Hamilton, 74, of Atlanta, MI passed away on Friday, February 15, 2008 at his son's residence in Palestine, TX.

He was born December 31, 1933 to Jacob and Harriet (Fischer) Hamilton in Flint, MI. He retired from the Atlanta Communtiy Schools in 1997, and was the former owner of Hamilton apartments. Al also served as Tri Township Fire Chief, and on various other Briley Township boards over a 25 year period.

Al is survived by his sons, Kip (Eileen) Hamilton of Palestine, TX; Clark (Joy) Hamilton of Palestine, TX; Kirk (Kim) Hamilton of Nacodoches, TX; Allan (Dawn) Hamilton of Traverse City, MI; and Mark Davis of Taylor, MI; 5 grandchildren; and sisters Delores (George) Pinchcock of Denver, CO; Marilyn (Duane) Brown of Mt Morris, MI, and Beverly (Leo) Kinney of St James City, FL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam.

As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Cremation services were handled by the Bailey and Foster Funeral Home in Palestine, TX. Local arrangements assisted by the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI.
