Carol VanVolkenburg
Carol VanVolkenburg, 67, of Hillman, MI, passed away on June 6, 2008 at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1941 to Wyvern and Leafa (Loomis) Jones in Rust Twp, MI. She married William "Joe" VanVolkenburg in 1984 in Hillman. Carol lived most of her life in the Hillman area. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to dance.

Carol is survived by her husband Joe; children; Claudia "Sue" Lunde of Farmington, MN, Elaine (Alan) Shepherd of Hillman, MI, Lorraine (James) Kinsey of Alpena, MI, Dwayne Jameson of Hillman, MI, Eugene (Jodi) Jameson of Gaylord, MI, Bill Kinsey of Alpena, MI, Erin Keetch of Hillman, MI, Marcee Robertson of Hillman, MI, Tony VanVolkenburg of Hillman, MI and Belinda Jones of Mio, MI; 23 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and special friends Donny and Dorothy Baker and family of Hillman, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, James Neville, and sisters, Kate Jones and Elda "Jean" Mohn.

Funeral services for Mrs VanVolkenburg will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI. Visitation hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
