Dennis James Heppner
Dennis James Heppner, 55, of Mass City, MI, formerly of Hillman, MI, passed away on April 12, 2008. He was born on August 27, 1952 to Roy and Patsy Heppner. He became a quadriplegic at age 18, but continued to live his life from there. He traveled all over the country, became a licensed gunsmith, and trained dogs to push wheelchairs and assist their masters.

Dennis is survived by his son, Evan Peterson-Heppner of Purcell, OK; sisters, Sandra Jacobs and Margaret (Eugene) Klein both of Hillman, MI; his uncle, Ed (Barbara) Holly of Kingsley, MI; special friends, Dallas, Dane, and Jason Malcom of Cozad, NB; and many other dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Patsy.

Funeral services for Mr Heppner will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Hillman Rust Twp Cemetery.
