Donald Kirk Parrish
Donald Kirk Parrish, 78, of Hillman, MI passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born on September 4, 1930 to Clarence and Ruth (Perkins) Parrish. He married the former Janice Jury on December 9, 1967 in Clio, MI. He has lived in Hillman since 1990, but had vacationed here since 1980. He enjoyed woodcarving and solving suduko games. Don was an avid reader, and used to hunt and fish in his younger years.

Donald is survived by his wife, Janice of Hillman, MI; son, Michael (Sarah) Parrish of Alpena, MI; daughters, Penny (Steve) Cross of Flint, MI, and Terry (Dennis) Young of Clio, MI; grandchildren, Kenneth, Nicholas, Jennifer, Tracey, Sarah, Stephanie, and Mary; and great grandchildren, Austin and Seth.

Funeral services for Mr Parrish will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI at 1:00 PM, Mr Kevin Spencer officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
