Katherine M. Havens
Katherine Marie Havens, 93, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 21, 1913 to Erle and Hazel (Davis) Folsom in Dryden, MI. She married Flloyd "Bennie" Havens on June 29, 1935 in Dryden. Mrs Havens has lived in Atlanta since 1973. She and her husband owned and operated Havens Lumber and Roofing Company, Inc, in Dryden, MI from 1947-1969 before retiring up to Atlanta. She was a member of Big Rock Congregational Church. Katherine loved to fish and hunt. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips out west to Montana. She liked to garden and be outside. Her family always came before everything else.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Dale) Chapp of Onaway, MI, son, Terry "Butch" Havens of Southfield, MI; 3 grandhcildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Flloyd in 2000.

Funeral services for Mrs Havens will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Big Rock Congregational Church, Atlanta, at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ed Ross officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Monday from 2-8 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, and again on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of sevic
