Lois Yvonne Worde
Mrs. Lois Yvonne Worde, 82 of Sparr passed away on July 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born to Walter and Stella (Cake) Davison on January 23, 1930 in London Ontario, Canada. She has lived in the Sparr area for the last fourteen years. She received a Master's degree in education from Western Michigan University and taught special education in Union City, MI. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Gaylord. She attended the Alton Zimmer Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards. She was an avid reader and artist and liked to paint and draw. Above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Tom Worde of Sparr, MI; Bradley Worde of Vanderbilt; daughter, Bonnie (William) Pittman of Boise, ID; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and sister, Nona Kelly of Royal Oak.

As were her wishes cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Worde at this time.
