Ross Bowen McElhinney
Ross Bowen McElhinney, 83, of Hillman, MI, passed away on November 9, 2006 at Medilodge of Hillman Nursing Home. He was born on January 6, 1923 to Bela and Mary (Scouten) McElhinney in Snover, MI. Ross lived much of his life in the Hillman area, spending his most of his working days on farms or as a woodsman. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lachine, and a long time member of the Montmorency County Fair Board. He was an avid bowler.

Ross is survived by his brother, Dean (Eleanor) McElhinney of Hillman, MI; sister Artis Bentley of Bristol, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald and a sister, Margaret Lindeke.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Rev Larry Kirby officiating. Interment will take place in Hillman/Rust Twp Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6 PM.
