William Anthony Spears
William Anthony Spears, 88, of Hillman, MI, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. He was born on October 18, 1920 in New Jersey. He has lived in Hillman since 2000 formerly of Farmington Hills, MI. He was a war hero during WWII, he earned a bronze star, was in heavy weapons, and saved many fellow soldiers. He was a past member of the Hillman VFW. He was a tremendous artist, owning and operating Studio 2 Graphic Arts for many years, doing mostly commercial advertising. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting.

William is survived by his son, Gregg Spears of Hillman, MI, daughter, Cindy Spears of James City, FL; and 3 grandchildren. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
