Arthur Kaminske

Arthur Joseph Kaminske Arthur Joseph Kaminske, 69, of Grand Rapids passed away on July 24, 2017. He was born on February 10, 1948 to Arthur and Irene (Medici) Kaminske in Detroit, Michigan. He honorably served in the US Army during Vietnam. Arthur graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor's degree in social work and psychology, and enjoyed the time he spent at Otsego Memorial Hospital working with troubled teens. He enjoyed metal working in his spare time. Arthur is survived by his brothers, Richard of New Baltimore, Michigan, Bill (Vicki) of Troy, Michigan, Nick (Judy) of Atlanta, Michigan, and Mark (Diane) of Armada, Michigan; sisters, Ilene (Al) Lannoo of Richmond, Michigan, and Kathy (Joe Smith) Kaminske of Riley, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Irene; and a brother, Chris Kaminske. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta. He will be interred at Hillman/Rust Township Cemetery.
