Barbara Jean Ball

Barbara Jean Ball of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully surrounded by family on June 9, 2025 at the age of 95. She was welcomed into Heaven with outstretched arms by her long-awaited husband, Don Ball Sr. Barb was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on January 23, 1930 to Marvin and Aphia (Busby) Douglass. She married Donald Ball Sr on June 26, 1948 and together they celebrated 68 years of marriage before his passing in 2016. The couple resided in Lewiston for the last 50+ years. Barb was a member of the 50+ Club where she shared weekly meals with friends and attended the BINGO nights. She loved flowers and was known in the family for her famous pumpkin pie. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with them. Barb is and will be deeply missed.

Barb is remembered by her son, Ronald (Dawn) Ball; daughter, Lori (Don) Padgitt; grandchildren, Clarence, Teresa, Jeffery, Donald III, Barbie (John), Gene (Barb), Robert, Karen (Brad), Jeremy, Ronald Jr (Katie), Rhonda (Duane), Tiffany, Chelsea (Dave), Ricky (Crystal), Nick, Chaz (Hannah); numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Aphia Douglass; husband, Donald Ball Sr; sons, Donald Ball Jr, Clarence, Kevin; and daughter, Donna.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of her life at noon on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service.
