Barbara Jones

Barbara Jean Jones Mrs. Barbara Jean Jones, 66 of Hillman, Michigan passed away on June 25, 2014 at MediLodge of Hillman. She was born in Catheryn, West Virginia to the late, Roy and Aretta (England) Adkins on August 19, 1947. Barbara lived in Hillman since 2007, formerly from Oxford. She retired from General Motors Lake Orion Plant after 25+ years. She enjoyed decorative painting, arts and crafts, collecting and painting stones, scratch off lottery tickets, riding in her mustang, and traveling. Above all these things, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by son, Mike Magnotte of Oxford; daughter, Melissa Magnotte; stepson, David (Patty) Smith of Hillman; stepdaughters, Debbie Boldrey of 29 Palms, California; Denna Welsh of Hillman; Lisa Hunt of Hillman; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Irene) Adkins of Hadley; and Larry (Janet) Adkins of Holly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Aretta Adkins; husbands, Clinton Jones and Alan Swett; stepson, Clinton Lee; and granddaughter, Derek. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will take place at 1:00PM on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Green Funeral Home; Hillman, Michigan. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until time of service. Internment will take place at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery following the services.
