Barbara Tafelski

Barbara Jeanette Tafelski Mrs. Barbara Jeanette Tafelski, 79 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 18, 2016 at Tendercare in Alpena. She was born to the late, Frank and Frieda (Dryer) Martin in Bay City, Michigan on August 12, 1936. She moved with her husband, John to Atlanta 27 years ago, formerly of Paradise, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1993. Barbara loved knitting, crocheting, feeding the birds, and spending time with her grandchild. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Norman (Pattie) Tafelski of St. Ignace; and granddaughter, Sara Tafelski of St. Ignace. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frieda Martin; husband, John Tafelski; and daughter, Sandra Smith. There are currently no services planned for Mrs. Tafelski at this time.
She is survived by her son, Norman (Pattie) Tafelski of St. Ignace; and granddaughter, Sara Tafelski of St. Ignace. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frieda Martin; husband, John Tafelski; and daughter, Sandra Smith.
