Barbara Ethel Ulin Barbara Ethel Ulin, 90, of Hillman, Michigan, passed away at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Alpena on June 17, 2017. She was born on January 20, 1927 to Raymond and Ethel (Archer) Springer in Flint, Michigan. She married Leonard Ulin on August 13, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. She worked in the secretarial and clerical field for various businesses over the years, she was proud of the fact that she was a key punch operator for many years. She also owned and operated the family farm in North Branch with her husband for quite a long time. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Above all else, Barbara was devoted to her family. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Marinea (Joe) Orbzut, and son, Kevin (Lisa) Ulin, both of Hillman, MI; 5 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Arlene) Ulin of Sterling Heights, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ethel; husband, Leonard; granddaughter, Crystal Ulin; brother, Ray Springer; and a sister, Margaret Bishop. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there are no services planned for Mrs. Ulin at this time. She will be interred at Hillman/Rust Township Cemetery with her husband at a later date.
