Mr. Bobby Wayne Taylor "Fatbobs" an Army veteran and a resident of Oscoda County passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 72 and in the comfort of his home with his wife at his side.
He is survived by his spouse, Rhonda Taylor; his two children, Robert Taylor and Dina Taylor-Lee; and spouses, Mercedes Priziola-Taylor; and Vince Lee along with his five grandchildren, Ryan, Jake, Nolan, Miranda, and Von. He was born in Reseda, California on April 17, 1949 to the late, Beaufort and Annie Taylor. He was the youngest and last living of three brothers. He moved to Michigan in 1950 and graduated from Centerline High School in 1967. He was deployed overseas in 1969 to Vietnam where he then received a honorable discharge from the Army in 1970. When he returned home he became a certified master mechanic. He then started a career with Clawson Concrete as an operator of a cement mixer which he worked until retirement. Him and his wife, Rhonda moved to Lewiston, Michigan where he built his home himself and because a member of the Loyal Riders Motorcycle Club where he was a beloved brother. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend but his first passion was spending time with his grandchildren. He loved teaching them the fundamentals of life. Bob held his head up high with pride, dignity, and honesty. He was always willing to help anyone who was in need. Bob made sure that his children and grandchildren lived with those same qualities. Bob also enjoyed fishing, hunting and outdoors. After family time he was usually on his Harley. Whether you called him Bob, Bobby, Fatbobs, husband, dad, papa, friend, or brother we ask him to save us a seat at the big table above where we'll meet again.
