Mr. Bruce Charles Arnold, 68 of Atlanta, Michigan died suddenly on October 18, 2022 at his home. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 3, 1954 to Roland and Joanne (Hardy) Arnold. At the age of 24, he married his beautiful bride, Anna (Fritz) Arnold on April 22, 1978 and together the couple celebrated 44 years of marriage before his passing. They moved to Atlanta in 1986 where Bruce worked as a deputy sheriff for the Montmorency County Sheriff’s Department for 23 years, retiring in 2017. He was the founder of the Atlanta Youth Football Association and the Atlanta Eagles peewee football. He greatly enjoyed both hunting and fishing, but his passion was his family. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Bruce is and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Arnold of Atlanta; sons, Chris (Dana) Arnold of Atlanta; Jeff (Leah) Arnold of Onaway; David (Ashley) Arnold of Saranac; grandchildren, Eden (Zach), Olivia, Ava, Rosalie, Tommy, Brady, and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Maizey, Teagan, Amelia, and Aliza; brother, Mike (Karen) Arnold of Novi; sister, Wendy (Mike) Turley of Tennessee; parents, Roland (Joanne) Arnold of Livonia; and in-laws, David (Susan) Fritz of Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Rosalie Fritz.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at a later date.
