Carl Faye Pollaski Mr. Carl Faye Pollaski, 69 of Gould City, Michigan died peacefully at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital on May 24, 2016. He was born in Vienna Township, Michigan on January 18, 1947. Carl was born and raised in Vienna but resided in Gould City for the last 20 years. He married his wife, Ethel (Henry) Pollaski on December 2, 1978 and together the couple celebrated 37 years of marriage before his passing. He worked as a lumberman for many years and was a backwoods engineer and enjoyed to tinker around with things at home. Carl was an outdoorsman and loved to camp and hunt with his family over the years. He enjoyed to socialize to friends and most importantly, his family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel "Toni" Pollaski of Gould City; sons, Gary Hammond of East Jordan; Darryl (Regina) Pollaski of Elmira; Jeff Pryor of Washington Township; Carl (Melissa) Pollaski of Cross Village; Jason (Betsy) Pollaski of Gould City; daughters, Sallie (Dan) Hart of Mansfield, Pennsylvania; Wendy (Don) Burke of Lovells; Tracie Berry of Traverse City; Tammy (Mike) Walker of Shelby Township; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, Russ and Reggie Crank; and brother, Gerald Orcutt. Funeral services for Mr. Pollaski will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Green Funeral Home; Lewiston; Pastor David Hill officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until time of service. Private interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Johannesburg.
