Carole (Longpre) Foy Carole (Longpre) Foy, age 52, passed away July 9, 2014 at her home in Glendale, AZ. She was born December 27, 1961 to Howard Longpre and Joyce (Wilson) Tunnicliffe at Alpena General Hospital. She attended Atlanta High School and participated in band, cheerleading, track, basketball, etc., winning many awards. She graduated with the Class of 1980, and attended Alpena Community College. Carole married Michael Foy III in Las Vegas, NV on May 12, 1984. She is survived by her husband and three sons Michael, Matthew and Joshua, and two grandchildren, Michael and Julia Foy, all of Glendale, AZ; her parents Howard and Roberta Longpre of Hillman and Joyce Tunnicliffe of Atlanta; a brother, Gary Longpre of Whittemore; and two sisters, Shari (Tom) Klein of Commerce Twp., MI and Daniece (Greg) Morgan of Austin, TX; a step-brother, Joe Tunnicliffe of Georgetown, TX; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Carole was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Longpre of Hillman; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wilson of Atlanta; and her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Foy II of Scotch Plains, NJ. Over the years she worked for First Federal Corporate Center in Phoenix, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Branch Operator Manager, General Electric Capital as an Operations Manager, and USAA as a mortgage processor. Carole was a homebody and loved having her family and friends around. She loved to read and enjoyed playing and reading to her two grandchildren. Carole holds a special place in the hearts of all who knew and loved her and she will be greatly missed forever. Services were held in AZ at Heritage Funeral Chapel on July 12, 2014. Per her wishes, there will be a service at Green Funeral Home in Atlanta, with visitation Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at Briley Township Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at the Big Rock Congregational Church following the graveside service. Condolences may be sent to the various family members, or a donation to St. John's Lutheran Church, Royston; Big Rock Church, Atlanta; or to the Cancer Fund, in her name.
