CATHERINE ANN DANIELS

Ms. Catherine Ann Daniels, 75 years old, died on December 16, 2025 in Alpena, Michigan at MyMichigan Medical Center. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 16, 1950 to Raymond and Enid (Saner) Daniels. She lived in Hillman for almost 26 years from Eastpointe.

Cathy was a certified nurses assistant for over 40 years in Detroit and Alpena Hospitals, and also worked in home care. She especially enjoyed taking care of the elderly and cared for three elderly family members. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. Cathy gave her best in everything she did and was a hard worker. She loved to watch wildlife around her home and loved all animals. She enjoyed gardening and yard work and being outdoors. She liked to make jewelry and enjoyed a good meal, especially a hamburger and fries.

Cathy lived with her sister, Ginger and brother, David for over 30 years. She also was a twin to her sister, Marie and they were very close. Cathy was the glue in the family and her loss is enormous. She was generous, kind, always thoughtful, and had a beautiful smile. She believed in our Lord Jesus Christ and is now with Him. She is dearly missed.

Cathy is remembered by her siblings, Ginger Battle, Marie (Rick) Dlugosielski, Jim Daniels; nephew, Shawn Daniels and his sons, Tanner and David; niece, April Dixon and her companion, Rolly; nephew, Christopher (Tammy) Duff and their children; and numerous cousins of Detroit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Enid Daniels; brother, David; sister, Pat.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Cathy privately at this time.
