Constance Hoadley

Mrs. Constance Mae Hoadley, 84 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly at her home on February 25, 2020. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 17, 1936 to the late, Joseph and Anna (O'Brien) Nemec. She married her husband, Ronald Hoadley on April 21, 1986 in Islamorada, Florida and together the couple celebrated 33 years of marriage together before her passing. The couple have owned a cabin in the Lewiston area since 1994 and moved to the area permanently in 2006. Connie was a member of the American Legion Post 198 and the Lewiston Moose. She retired from GM in Pontiac where she worked on the assembly line for 17 years. She enjoyed trips to the casino and traveling to both Florida and Germany. Above all, she valued her time spent with family and will be deeply missed.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Hoadley of Lewiston; sons, Clark Merchant of Lake Orion; Carl Merchant of Tennessee; daughters, Cari (Gerald) Stevens of Merritt Island, Florida; Connie (Chris) Laverenz of White Lake; Christine Gonzales of Lake Orion; Colleen Merchant of Lake Orion; stepson, Brian Hoadley of Lewiston; stepdaughter, Jennifer Marrocco of Bloomfield Township; Heather (Ryan) McDaniel of Grand Blanc; sister, Elizabeth (Jack) Barnett of Holly; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Nemec; son, Craig Merchant; and sister, Joyce Wright.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Connie privately at this time.
