Daniel Lewis Cox

Mr. Daniel Lewis Cox, 77 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on the early morning of November 24, 2023, at Hillman’s Haven. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Irving and Eugenia (Walker) Cox on August 23, 1946. Daniel served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. After serving he began work as an electronic repairman working in the Detroit area for Sony for 27 years. Daniel was a member of the American Legion and a singer in Hillman’s Haven choir, Haven Harmonics. He was a collector of coins and a member of the American Numismatic Association. He also enjoyed drawing.

He is survived by his niece and nephews, Paula Sangco, Addam Cox, Erik Touboux, Traci Cox; and the nurses and staff that became family at Hillman Haven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Eugenia Cox, and sister, Susan Cox. A special thank you to Compassus Hospice for the care they gave to Daniel.
