Darrell Clifford Hurd Sr

Mr. Darrell Clifford Hurd Sr, 74 of Hillman, Michigan died suddenly on September 1, 2023 in Roscommon, Michigan. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 9, 1949 to the late Clifford and Mabel (Coleman) Hurd. He served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1966-1969. He has resided in Hillman for the last 20+ years and was a member the VFW Post 2356. Darrell worked as a truck driver for several companies over the course of 25 years. He had numerous hobbies including working on cars, fishing, hunting, gardening, travel, and camping. He also owned and operated D&K Lawncare and Landscaping. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Onalee Hurd of Hillman; son, Greg Slattery of Swartz Creek; daughter, Sandra Green of Roscommon; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mabel Hurd; and daughter, Susan Hanson.
