Denise Ann Hando Mrs. Denise Ann Hando, 57 of Hillman, Michigan died on January 26, 2015 at her home. She was born in Royal Oak, Michigan to George and Luella Gail (Partee) Hoffner on March 26, 1957. Denise moved to Hillman in 2009, formerly of Ankeny, Iowa. She worked as a computer technician for 15+ years and was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Hillman. Denise was a great cook and enjoyed to study genealogy. Prior to being sick, she loved wind surfing and woodworking, and was known as quite the carpenter. Above everything she did, she enjoyed her time spent with her family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Glenn (Sara) Dingee of Sterling Heights; grandson, Dexter; mother, Gail Partee of Troy; brother, George (Gay) Hoffner of Louisville, Kentucky; sisters, Therese (Frank) Stephens of Louisville, Kentucky; and Valerie (Mark) Swenson of San Diego, California. She was preceded in death by her father, George Hoffner. Funeral services for Mrs. Hando will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Calvary Espiscopal Church; Hillman, Michigan; Rev. Mary Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 11:00AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be made to the Calvary Episcopal Church or Hospice of MI, Alpena.
