Denise Marquardt

Denise Ann Marquardt Mrs. Denise Ann Marquardt, 56 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at her home on the early morning of February 8, 2017. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 2, 1960 the daughter of Albert and Marjean (Brandt) LaFleche. She lived in Hillman most of her life and worked at Northern Michigan Community Mental Health for 16 years as a supervisor in AIS homes. Denise enjoyed reading, baking, and making baskets for family and friends. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her parents, Bert and Marjean LaFleche of Hillman, MI; brothers, Gary (Sheila) LaFleche of Hillman; Randy (Mary Jones) LaFleche of Hillman; Alan LaFleche of Alabama; Gene (Nancy) LaFleche of North Carolina; Mark (Joanne) LaFleche of Alpena; Dale LaFleche; and John LaFleche both of Hillman; sister, Delinn (Wayne) Keetch of Rose City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; and son, Adam Albert Marquardt. As were her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial mass held in celebration of her life at St. Augustine Catholic Church on May 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM. There will be visitation at the church from 9:00 AM until time of service. The family has suggested memorials to Hospice of Michigan, Alpena, or to St Augustine Catholic Church Building Fund.
