Diane Orlando

Mrs. Diane Lynne Orlando, 63 of Hillman passed away Sunday November 27,2022 at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of George and Irene (Wicks) Bennett was born on April 3,1959 in Flint, Michigan. Diane graduated from Hillman High School in 1977, staying in the Hillman area she raised her children while working several jobs in the health care industry.  She married Michael Orlando on April 11,2000 in Orlando, Florida. Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sharing her love of crafting, sewing and making jewelry. She loved vacationing every year in Florida and going to the casino.

Surviving are her husband, Michael; three children, Frank (Kellie) Lis; Nina (Michael) Kennard; and Anthony Lis; two step-children, Michael Orlando Jr., Matte (Joseph) Gerhring; eight grandchildren, Emalie, Blake, Brody, Jackson, Cierra, Jazlynn, Alexander and Adam; two sisters Patricia (Brian) Klein, and Colleen (Greg) Gambs; three brothers, Jimmy Dodge, Clyde (LuAnn) Dodge, Greg (Brenda) Bennett; and a very close companion, her dog, Bentley. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Donald Ray Francisco and Daryl Francisco.

Funeral services for Mrs. Orlando will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service will interment following at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
