Dorothy P. Normile Dorothy P. Normile, 89, of Atlanta, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2006 at MediLodge of Hillman following and extended illness. Dorothy was born January 15, 1917 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Anthony and Pauline (Wieczowaty) Detfoff. She lived in Atlanta since 1996, moving from Warren, MI. Dorothy was a longtime chief baker in the Detroit Public School System. She was a member of Jesus The Good Shepard Church in Atlanta. Surviving are sons, Edward (Patti Dumas) Normile of Atlanta and Kenneth (Nancy) Normile of Prudenville, MI; daughter, DJ Normile of Atlanta; three grand children; and three great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, and a son, Paul. Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 11 a.m. from Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Fr. Vianney Sipulski, OFM officiating.
