Mr. Douglas Parker, a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, and cherished member of our family, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories. He departed this world on July 13, 2023. Douglas had a deep passion for fishing, spending countless hours by the water seeking peace. Douglas was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nikki Parker. Their love and partnership was a testament to unwavering commitment, loyalty, and support. Together, they built a life filled with shared experiences and cherished moments. He was also loved very much by his daughter, Danielle McDaniel. As a Papa, Douglas cherished his role and adored his grandchildren, Nick, Kailee, and Allie. He found immense joy in watching them grow, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured by his loved ones. Douglas was also blessed with a supportive and loving extended family. His presence will be deeply missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Charlie and Sheila Whitt; his nephews and nieces, Tina and Jason Scofield, Stacey and Trenton Whitt, Scott and Velvet Whitt, and their children, Candice, Elizabeth, and Spencer. In addition to his love for fishing, Douglas was known for his kind heart, gentle nature, and unwavering commitment to those he held dear. His warmth and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an undeniable mark on all who knew him. We gather to mourn his loss and celebrate the beautiful life he led. Although he is no longer physically with us, Douglas will forever remain alive in our hearts, remembered for his love, laughter, and the immeasurable impact he made on our lives. May his soul find eternal peace.

In accordance with his wishes, Douglas has been cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to Nikki Parker.
