Earl E. Ferguson Earl E. Ferguson, 86, of Atlanta Michigan passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Otsego Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Earl was born January 14, 1920 in Alma Michigan, the son of James and Lila (Demick) Ferguson. Earl retired from the Montmorency County Road Commission in 1992 after more than 44 years as an equipment operator. Earl was a member of the Mt. Hope Assembly of God Church in Gaylord, and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Earl is survived by his loving companion Marcella Black, sons Ben Ferguson of Lewiston, and Bob (Robin) Ferguson of Atlanta, daughters Janet (Mick) Tillotson of Atlanta and Judy (Jim) Burkhart of Onaway, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters Lillian Torrey, Eveleyn Cooper, and Katie Powell all of Fenton, MI and Jean Runyan of Lewiston. Earl was preceded in death by his wife Florence in 1986, brothers George, Ben, Don, Herman, Jim and Art Ferguson and sister Marion Bidelman. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday at the Green Funeral Home in Atlanta, Pastor Norm Oberlin and Pastor Dave Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Heatheron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 pm Monday.
