Edith Shirey

Edith Ann Shirey Edith Ann Shirey, 51 of Hillman passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Tendercare-Alpena following an extended illness. Edith was born July 21, 1955 in Detroit Michigan the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy Shirey. Edith participated in Special Olympics, loved bowing, riding in the car. She especially enjoyed country music and deeply loved her care givers who have shown her so much love over these years. Edith was preceded in death by a brother Douglas, and a sister Elizabeth; she is survived by her parents Thomas and Dorothy Shirey of Douglas, MI, brothers Charles, Alan (Kristen), and Daniel all of Holland, MI, sister Susan (Edward) Fishman of Occidental, CA and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at the Green Funeral Home Hillman. Pastor Doug McGeorge officiating.
