Edward Charles Bogan Mr. Edward Charles Bogan, 79 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on the early afternoon of November 29, 2016. He was born to the late, Edward and Marjorie Bogan on November 22, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. He married his wife, Nancy (Harms) Bogan in Mt. Clemens on June 1, 1964 and together the couple celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing. The couple moved to Lewiston 43 years ago, formerly of Mt. Clemens. Together they owned and operated Bogan Service Center for 30 years. He was a member of the Lewiston Lions Club and the Curling Club. Edward loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and traveling. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, devoted husband, and wonderful father. He loved the sound of laughter and making those around him laugh. He had numerous friends and touched the lives of many. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Bogan of Lewiston; son, Eddie Bogan of California; daughters, Debbie (Mike) Bogan-Koch Franceus of Tempus; Tammy (Bill) Bogan-Koch Kamen of Tempus; Cheryl (Robert) Schaub of Traverse City; Cynthia (Sid) Schaub of Traverse City; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marjorie Bogan; and sister, Geraldine. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at Nancy's home on June 11, 2017 from 11:00AM-3:00 PM. The family has suggested donations be made to the Elk Country Animal Shelter, 11484 Youngs Rd, Atlanta.
