Faye Reeves

Faye Marcina Reeves (MacAuley) Mrs. Faye Marcina Reeves (MacAuley) age 83, passed peacefully on September 29, 2018 with her loving family at her side at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City, Michigan. The eldest of 13 children she was born to the late, Alger and Geraldine MacAuley on October 31, 1934. After graduating from Fairview High School she left the area to work at the Tank Plant in Warren, Michigan where she met and soon married Ken Reeves on October 5, 1952. Together they had five children; Kim, Kerry, Michelle, Karen, and Scott. Faye LOVED family, she LOVED to read, LOVED to sing and dance, she LOVED to paint, LOVED to bake and LOVED her friends dearly. Faye was a SWEETHEART with a KIND HEART and SOUL. Throughout her life she volunteered many hours of service, especially when it involved children. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church (RLDS), the Lewiston Lioness Club, and the Red Garter Girls. Faye returned to Fairview in 2002 to be near her family. Faye is survived by her children, Kim Reeves, Karen (Graham Rennie) Wilding, and Scott (Cathy) Reeves; her grandchildren, Heather (Josh), and Ryan; her great-granddaughter, Sophie; siblings, Ronnie (Darlene); Richard, Brian (Dawn), Arlene, Jeanne (Bill), Pat and baby sister, Robin (Dallas), and her brother-in-law, Richard Pokrefky. She was preceded in death by her children, Michelle and Kerry; siblings, Dolores, Shirley, Dennis, Donna, and Greg. Funeral services for Mrs. Reeves will take place at noon on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be directed to the Lewiston Lioness Club.
