Obituary

Mr. Ford Bernard Pariseau Jr., 87, died unexpectantly on January 15, 2026, at his home in Johannesburg, Michigan. He was born in Bad Axe, Michigan to the late Ford and Katherine (Osentoski) Pariseau, Sr. on May 24, 1938. He married Mary Jane (Belland) Pariseau on November 28, 1964, and together the couple celebrated 61 years of marriage before his passing. Ford built their home in Johannesburg in 1993, and the couple moved to the area permanently in 1999 after Ford’s retirement. He was a member of the Lewiston Moose 2495. Ford enjoyed a variety of hobbies, from searching for pudding stones and morel mushrooms to trips to the casino, rides with his wife in his sand rail, solving crossword puzzles, exploring eBay, and going garage sailing and junk shopping. He also thoroughly enjoyed driving his 1996 classic Corvette. He is, and will be, deeply missed.

Ford is remembered by his loving wife, Mary Pariseau; children, Suzette Pariseau, Ford (Shannon) Pariseau III, Denette Pariseau, Dirk (Pamela) Pariseau; grandchildren, Chelsea, Amber, Ford IV, Regan, Dirk Jr, Dakota, Roman, Piper, Pierce; five great-grandchildren, with another on the way; sister, Shirley Fowler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ford and Katherine Pariseau, Sr. and sister, Lorraine. 

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held in celebration of his life in May or June. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. Condolence messages may be sent via our website at www.greenfuneralhomes.com
