Gloria "Jackie" Rahn Gloria "Jackie" Rahn 78 of Lewiston passed away Thursday, March 8th 2007 at AuSable Valley Home after an extended illness. Jackie was born September 8, 1928 in Bay City Michigan, the daughter of Alfred and Florence (Manor) LaPan. She and her husband Herman moved to Lewiston in 1962, where Jackie worked more than 27 years as a waitress at the Redwood Steakhouse. Jackie enjoyed collecting dolls and was an avid golfer. She was also a member of St Francis Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild at St Francis. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Kristy, a son Wendell, a granddaughter Tina Ann Wheelis, a grandson Timothy Rahn, a great grandson Casey Byars, brothers Roy and Pete LaPan, and sisters Thelma Macheske, Gertrude Voisine, and Phyllis Thompson. She is survived by her husband Herman, sons Jack (Joyce) Rahn of Gernfaske, MI, Mike (Karen) Rahn and Steve (Denise) Rahn both of Lewiston, daughters Connie (Felix) Renkiewicz of Frederic, MI, Susan (Larry) Wheelis of Lewiston and Kimberly (Joe) Jeluso of Lowell, MI, 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, brothers Paul, Leonard, Ernie, and Louis LaPan all of bay City, MI and sisters Irene Gauthier of Bay City, Mi and Norma Kozmiuk of Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 12th at 11:00 AM from St Francis Catholic Church, Fr Jim VonTobel officiating. Burial will be in St Francis Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home from 4-8 PM Sunday and at St Francis from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
