Gregory Allen Burton, 75, of Lewiston, Michigan passed away on August 15, 2026 in Traverse City, Michigan. He was born to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Tackabury) in Flint, Michigan on August 17, 1950. He served his country proudly as a veteran of the United States Marines Corps. Greg centered much of his life around AA and the community he found there, becoming someone others could turn to for encouragement and support. Outside of AA, he enjoyed taking casino trips, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and the people he cared about. He is and will be deeply missed.

Greg is remembered by his sons, Bill (Erin) Burton, Tony Burton; numerous grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; close friends, Bob Dice and Bill Yoder; and his cousin and pastor, Dennis Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Burton; and son, Jim.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Greg privately at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
