Harold “Bill” William Sieloff, 91, of Lewiston, Michigan passed away at home on September 14, 2026. He was born in Hazel Park, Michigan on March 10, 1935 to the late Harold and Evelyn (Therrian) Sieloff. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Bill resided in Lewiston for the last 25 years. He was a talented seamstress and took great pride in creating beautiful quilts. In just two years, Bill, along with friends made and donated more than 200 quilts to veterans’ hospitals and shelters bringing warmth and comfort and a little piece of home to those in need. He ran a successful antique business for many years in Troy, Michigan and then later in Lewiston. Bill was also a proud member of the 50+ Club where he enjoyed helping with bingo games and pancake breakfast fundraisers. An avid euchre and bingo player, he cherished the friendships and fellowship that came with both. He is and will be deeply missed.
Bill is remembered by his companion of 47 years, Earl Oswald; children, Joel (Jen) Oswald, Dee Misiak; grandchildren, Katie (Jake) Somers, Teghan (Joey) Edmonds, Johanna Oswald, Tori (Dylan) Helms, Alexis (Nuno Bazarian) Misiak, Yannis Hahn; great-grandchildren, Claire and Lili Somers; and cousins, Barb Alford, Robert (Ann) Fraser, and Alison (Floyd) Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn Sieloff.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service held for Bill at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
