Irene Szymanski

Irene Szymanski Irene Szymanski, 92, of Sterling Heights, MI, formerly of Lewiston, passed away on August 13, 2008. She was born on October 28, 1915 to Walter and Lucy (Damaschke) Brodowski in Detroit, MI. She married Walter Szymanski on August 21, 1937. Her and her husband retired to Lewiston in 1978 from Warren, MI. Irene is survived by her daughters, Christine (Kenneth) Cymbalski of Clinton Twp, MI, Geraldine Lagorio of Warren, MI, Marie (Gary) Anderson of Sterling Heights, MI, and Alice (Alvin) Rinke of Goodells, MI; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a sister Joan Peck of West Covina, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and two sons, Stephen and Dan. Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the St Francis Catholic Cemetery in Lewiston, MI, Deacon Art LoVetere officiating.
