Jacqueline Irene Dropps Mrs. Jacqueline Irene Dropps, 81 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena on August 18, 2016. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 26, 1934 to the late, Floyd and Lucille Kempf. Jacqueline has lived in Hillman for over 30 years, formerly of Bergenfield, New Jersey. She worked as a home health aide for 20+ years and worked for the ambulance and police department in New Jersey. She had other jobs aside from these and was always working. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and was very avid in her beliefs about the church and God. She was a gifted musician, especially with the guitar, piano, and singing. She also enjoyed to knit, crochet, and bake. Above everything that Jacqueline did, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and Gi Gi that will be forever loved and dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Michael Dropps of Hillman; daughters, Kristine Dropps of Dumont, New Jersey; Katherine Dropps of New York City; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Allen) Pindulic of Dumont, New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Logan and Colton; and sister, Louise (Waldon) Hunt of Hillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lucille Kempf; husband, Gordon; daughter, Kim Dropps; and brother, Floyd Kempf. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held for Mrs Dropps on Wednesday, August 25, 2016 at St Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman, MI at 11:00 AM, with visiting from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.
