James Rutherford

James Henry Rutherford Mr. James Henry Rutherford, 57 of Hillman, Michigan died suddenly on November 15, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 8, 1961 to the late, Jessie Herman and Loretta Ann (Gilson) Rutherford. James has resided in Hillman for the last 15 years. He loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, and his dog, Sandy. He will be dearly missed by friends and family.

He is survived by his sister, Sondra Taylor of St. John's, Florida; brother, Michael (Debbie) Byrum of Belleville; sister, Deanna Rutherford of Alpena; nieces and nephews, Eric, Tashawnda, Kandise, Shawn, Sarah, and Amber; stepsisters, Yolanda and Judy; and stepbrother, Richard all of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Loretta Rutherford; brother, Charles Rutherford; and his favorite dog, Skittlebit.

Funeral services for Mr. Rutherford will take place at noon on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service.
