Jean Adams

Jean E. McQuaid Adams Mrs. Jean E. McQuaid Adams, 88 of Atlanta, Michigan released her last breath on June 9, 2015 and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. She was born on August 17, 1926 in Belleville, Michigan to the late, Howard Bradley and Pearl (Ellis) McQuaid. Jean moved to Atlanta 25+ years ago, formerly from Farmington Hills. She retired as an office manager in real estate after 15+ years and also worked as a clerk for Drank Manor in Farmington for five years. She was a die hard Detroit Red Wings fan and had a love for many things; including getting pictures, receiving prestos, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She had a deep love for the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by daughter, Linda (James Martin) Flanery of Kansas; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Adams of Atlanta; grandson, Marcus D. (Ashley) Adams of Florida; great-grandchildren, Dante, Inessa, and Locke; brother, Robert (Bobbi) McQuaid of South Carolina; special cousin, Keith McQuaid of Belleville; and numerous others in the McQuaid family. Her very best friend, Ruth Campbell and Rhonda were with her during her final moments. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Bradley and Pearl (Ellis) McQuaid; her loving husband, Herman Adams; sons, David H. and Bradley J. Adams. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Adams at 1:00PM on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Briley Township Cemetery; Atlanta. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Hospice of Sunrise Shore of Alpena of which gave Jean such loving care. It was Jean's personal wish to give to such a great organization of loving people so that they may be able to continue to help and care for families.
