Jeffrey Harrison Ghainer, 56 of East Lansing, Michigan passed away on January 13, 2026. Jeffrey was born on December 24, 1969 in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from Waverly High School in 1988 and attended Lansing Community College. Jeffrey’s most recent place of employment was in housekeeping at Sparrow Hospital. Prior to that, he worked at several car dealerships in the Lansing area. He enjoyed model trains, jigsaw puzzles, landscaping, and listening to eighties rock. He spent many weekends traveling across Michigan to attend car shows. He was very loved and will be deeply missed.

Jeffrey is remembered by his siblings, Laura (Dr. John) Hoye; Stephen Ghainer; nephew, Christopher (Breanna) Hoye and grand nephew Christopher Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Ghainer; and aunt, Sylvia Ghainer.

There will be a graveside service held in the Spring at Albert Township Cemetery, Lewiston where Jeffrey will be laid to rest.
