Joan L. Mouch Mrs. Joan L. Mouch, 83 of Atlanta, Michigan died on March 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in East Tawas, Michigan on April 19, 1934 to the late, Torrey and Lucille (Haviland) Osgerby. She grew up in Vassar, Michigan until their family relocated to Atlanta, Michigan where she graduated from Atlanta Community School. She married the late, Robert Mouch and made their home in Redford, Michigan where they raised four children. She worked at TOPPS Department Store and JCPenney. After moving to Atlanta she worked for the Montmorency County Register of Deeds until she retired. She enjoyed spending her winters in Bonita Springs, Florida where she played softball as the catcher. She also played bocce ball, bingo, and darts. She enjoyed golfing and bowling, but her favorite activity was playing cards. She belonged to the Bells of Harmony Choir and had a lot of fun dressing up as a clown and making everyone laugh. Over the years she belonged to the Atlanta Eagles Auxiliary holding many offices. She was secretary for the Commission on Aging, the VFW Auxiliary, and the Senior Citizens Center. She was also a member of the St. Mary's Church of Florida and St. Mark's of Atlanta. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Nathaniel) Jones of Bonita Springs, Florida; Beverly (David) Theobald of Clermont, Florida; Robert (Jan) Mouch, Jr. of Novi; Bonnie (Dan) Bondy Pouget of Amherstburg Ontario, Canada; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Kidder; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Torrey and Lucille Osgerby; husband, Robert; sisters, June Rice and Jean Buchinger; grandson, Logan Mouch; and granddaughter, Lisa Theobald. Funeral services for Mrs. Mouch will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Atlanta; Pastor Philip Seitz officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will take place at Briley Township Cemetery, Atlanta.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Nathaniel) Jones of Bonita Springs, Florida; Beverly (David) Theobald of Clermont, Florida; Robert (Jan) Mouch, Jr. of Novi; Bonnie (Dan) Bondy Pouget of Amherstburg Ontario, Canada; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Kidder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Mouch will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Atlanta; Pastor Philip Seitz officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service. Interment will take place at Briley Township Cemetery, Atlanta.
