Joanne Lawson

Mrs. Joanne Lawson, 83 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at her home on July 16, 2025. She was born on July 22, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan. Joanne has resided in Lewiston for the last 30 years with her husband, John. She loved to sew and make dolls and cook her famous polish dishes. She also enjoyed taking care of her yard, mowing the grass, and gardening. Joanne was a woman with a big heart who loved deeply. She is and will be missed.

Joanne is remembered by her husband, John Lawson Sr; sons, John Lawson Jr, and William Lawson; grandchildren, Katrina, Billy, Joshua, Tara, and Seth; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jean Schaaf.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Joanne privately at this time.
