Joseph Anthony Beck, 70, of Atlanta, Michigan passed away suddenly on August 6, 2026. He was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Roland and Erma (Walsh) Beck on September 22, 1955. Joe had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and felt most at home surrounded by nature. He enjoyed hiking, snowshoeing, biking, and kayaking, always drawn to the peace he found in the woods. Though he was a private man, he found great joy in the company of those closest to him. He cherished time spent socializing with friends, sharing conversation and laughter. He is and will be deeply missed.

Joe is remembered by his sister, Gerian Downey; brothers, Kenneth (Karen) Beck; Chris (Ann Jenkin) Beck; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Erma Beck; brothers, Fred, Carl, Bill; and sisters, Sydney and Dorothy.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held in Joe’s honor at 12:30 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Green Funeral Home, Atlanta. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
