Joseph Lee Wiekrykas Mr. Joseph Lee Wiekrykas, 36 of Atlanta, Michigan went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2016 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born the son of Joseph and Virginia (Boggs) Wiekrykas in Warren, Michigan on July 4, 1979. He married his long term girlfriend of 23 years, Grace (Nowicki) Wiekrykas in Atlanta on August 31, 2014. Joseph lived in Atlanta for the past eight years, formerly of Clinton Township. He was a member of the NRA and loved guns, as well as hunting. He also worked with the Wounded Warriors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, having fun, driving fast in his GTA, and loved celebrating the fourth of July with his love for fireworks. Most importantly, he valued the time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace Wiekrykas; son, Joseph (Veronica Ramirez) Wiekrykas; parents, Joseph and Virginia Wiekrykas all of Atlanta; sisters-in-law, Barb (Mike) Logan of East Pointe; Alice (Jim) Brys of East Pointe; brothers-in-law, Leonard (Jamie) Nowicki of Tennessee; Roman Nowicki of Clinton Township; aunts, Pat (Nancy) Folk of St. Clair Shores; Joyce Wiekrykas of St. Clair Shores; Sandy Kostrewza of Traverse City; Bonnie Giniadoski of Warren; uncle, David Wiekrykas of Sterling Heights; nieces and nephews, Krystal, Courtney, Trevor, Matthew, Jeremiah, Josh, Leonard, Christopher, Kenny, Andrew, Felicia; mother-in-law, Ann Nowicki of Atlanta; cousins, Kathy (Vask) Yeremian of Cumming, Georgia; Betty (Max) Mini of Shelby Township; Doug (Jessica) Bradford of Shelby Township; second cousins, Kevork, Dominic, Sabrina, Mateo, Antonio, Massimo; best friends, Curtis Wolkens and family; Mark Bowman and family; and cat, Emily. Funeral services for Mr. Wiekrykas will take place at 11:00AM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Green Funeral Home; Atlanta; Pastor Keith Jones officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Green Funeral Home from 4:00PM until 8:00PM.
