Karen Lee Brent Mrs. Karen Lee Brent, 60 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on September 5, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 13, 1958 to the late, Ronald and Mary (Lagerman) Cunningham in Flint, Michigan. On July 4, 1981 in Fenton, Michigan she married her husband, Randy Brent and together the couple celebrated 37 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Lennon, the couple has resided in Lewiston for the past 35 years. Together they owned Timberland Log Building where Karen helped Randy on log homes. It was her favorite job. She also worked as a waitress for many years, both downstate and in Lewiston at The Redwood Steakhouse. Karen was an avid writer, mostly poetry and loved music. She enjoyed to be outdoors in nature and liked to hunt and ride motorcycle with her husband. Her grandchildren were her life and she was known to them as "Nana." She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Brent of Lewiston; son, Randy Brent Jr. of Lewiston; daughters, Nichole (Michael) Phillips of Chesterfield; Misty (Mike) Basinski of Hudsonville; grandchildren, Kara, Nathan, Logan, Ethan, Carter, Alyssa, and Parker; sisters, Geeg (Steve) Ketzbeau of Linden; Susie (Greg) Smith of Fenton; and Amy (Chris) Wohlfert of Fenton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Mary Cunningham; niece, Ali Wohlfert; brother, Steve Cunningham; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bud and Jean Brent. Funeral services for Mrs. Brent will take place at noon on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Brent of Lewiston; son, Randy Brent Jr. of Lewiston; daughters, Nichole (Michael) Phillips of Chesterfield; Misty (Mike) Basinski of Hudsonville; grandchildren, Kara, Nathan, Logan, Ethan, Carter, Alyssa, and Parker; sisters, Geeg (Steve) Ketzbeau of Linden; Susie (Greg) Smith of Fenton; and Amy (Chris) Wohlfert of Fenton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brent will take place at noon on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service.
