Obituary

Kenny Lee Kinsey, 68 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at his home on February 28, 2026. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 6, 1957 to Charles Kinsey and Sue Wellbaum (Valentine). He resided in Atlanta all of his life. Kenny had a love for the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding on his four-wheeler. In his later years, he enjoyed photography and taking photos of wildlife. He also had a green thumb and loved to garden, making his own salsa and canning everything that he grew. He is and will be deeply missed.

Kenny is remembered by his mother, Sue Wellbaum; sisters, Karmen Kinsey, Deanna (Clifton) LaRose; daughter, Shannon (Ron) Greenway; half-brother, Chuck (Crystal) Kinsey, step-brother, Paul Carey; stepmother, Shelia Kinsey-Stone; nephews, Vinny DiPonio, Brian Head, Ryan Kinsey; nieces, Alysse LaRose, Heather (Tom) Weber; great-niece, Lillian Weber; great-nephews, Levi Weber and Layne Weber. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Kinsey; brothers, Kim and Roby; and stepfather, Robert Wellbaum.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Homes.
