Kirk Gregory Gildner, 63 of Hillman, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on March 26, 2026. He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 11, 1962 to Leland and Yvonne (St. Onge) Gildner. He married Stacey (Routson) Gildner on July 7, 2014 and together they celebrated 11 years of marriage before his passing. The couple have lived in Hillman for the last 10 years. Kirk was a member of the Hillman Sportsman’s Club and an avid collector of coins, vinyl records, sports cards, and old pedal bicycles. He worked in research and development as a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. Kirk was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed being outside in the woods, hunting, and fishing. He is and will be deeply missed.

Kirk is remembered by his loving wife, Stacey Gildner; sons, Ryan Gildner, Brandon Gildner, and Gavin Gildner; grandchildren, Adrianna, Camden, Madison; father, Leland Gildner; sisters, Kristin (Brian) Wineinger, Kerri (Jerry) Reynolds; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne; and brother, Keith.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
