Larry Branton

Larry Dean Branton Mr. Larry Dean Branton, 70 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at his home on December 14, 2018. He was born in Port Huron, Michigan on January 16, 1948 to Dean and Eva (Englebrandt) Branton. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam, earning a bronze star for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces. Larry has resided in Atlanta since 2006. He retired from Mueller Brass in Port Huron after 20+ years as a Hi-Lo driver. He was a member of the American Legion in Port Huron. Larry loved to fish and deer hunt. He enjoyed trips to the casino and loved his dogs, Phin and Babe. His family was very important to him and he cherished the time spent with them. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Branton of Atlanta; children, Kim Branton, Aimee (Keith) Monzo, Jodi Branton, Beth (Joe) Offerman, Laken (Harley) Englehart, Paige (Tim) Jacobs, and Stephanie Root; grandhildren, Marissa, Brendan, Keegan, Keith, Maleigha, Shianna, Jacob (USCG), Jackson (USAF), Kendall, Hannah, Tyler, Abigail, Beau, Avery, Rian, and Kodi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Eva.

As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date for Mr Branton.
