Leroy Johnson

Leroy Trever Johnson Mr. Leroy Trever Johnson, 69 of Lewiston, Michigan died on August 14, 2015 at Tendercare of Gaylord. He was born to the late, Roy and Beverly (Sylvester) Johnson in Flint, Michigan on March 29, 1946. He served his country proudly during Vietnam in the United States Army. He married wife, Sharon (Henry) Johnson on August 1, 1981 in Parshallville, Michigan and together the couple celebrated 34 years of marriage before his passing. The couple moved to Lewiston 15 years ago, formerly from Burton. Leroy was a member of the VFW Post #6635 in Lewiston, as well as the Masonic Lodge in Lewiston and Flint. He was a shriner clown for many years and was known as "Sarge." Leroy farmed while living in Lewiston and loved his time here. Above everything he enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Johnson of Lewiston; children, Annette (Jeff) Plaine; Thomas Johnson; Jennifer Johnson all of Arizona; Charlene (Steve Orm) Johnson of Lewiston; twelve grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Johnson of Davison; Louie Johnson of Caseville; sister, Jeannie (Keith) Wurst of Caseville; brother-in-laws, Ben (Linda) Henry of Fenton; Robert (Sue) Henry of Brighton; Michael (Linda) Henry of Kokomo, Indiana; and sister-in-law, Sandra (Ken) Siderman of Greer, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Beverly Johnson. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mr. Johnson.
