Lola Ann Cohoe Mrs. Lola Ann Cohoe, 72, of Lewiston, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born on December 27, 1944 to Dr James and Francis (Wiliams) Lauridsen in Joliet, Indiana. She married Roger Cohoe on January 4, 1965 in Joliet, together the couple celebrated 51 years of marriage before her passing. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and went on to be a nurse at University of Michigan Hospital and Grayling Mercy Hospital for a total of 44 years. She was a member of the Lewiston Congregational United Church of Christ, the Lewiston Lions and Lioness, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Lewiston. She served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts in Ann Arbor when her boys were growing up. Lola was always very active. When she was younger, horses were her passion. She always loved the outdoors, including gardening, camping, hunting, and fishing. Above all else, she loved time spent with family and will be dearly missed. Lola is survived by her loving husband, Roger; sons, James (Erin) of Romeo, Michigan, and William of Marshall, Michigan; grandchildren, David, Taylor, Corey, and Emily; great grandson, Lucas; and sister, Sandy (Durney) Stephens of Marysville, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Francis. Funeral services for Mrs. Cohoe will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at the Lewiston United Congregational Church of Christ, Pastor David Engel officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment will follow services at Albert Township Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. Memorials have been suggested to Hospice of Michigan in Gaylord or to Albert Township Fire Department, Lewiston.
