Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Allen, 55 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on May 31, 2019 at MediLodge of Hillman. She was born in Alpena, Michigan on March 10, 1964 to the late, Raymond and Betty (Johnson) Felsner. She has resided in Hillman her entire life and graduated from Hillman High School in 1982 as an honor student. She married her husband, Steven Allen, on July 23, 1983 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman and together the couple celebrated 35 years of marriage before her passing. Mary was a bank teller for Chemical Bank for eight years and also worked in sales as a secretary at Widell Industries in Hillman. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and den mother for Cub Scouts with her boys. She enjoyed music, especially 80s rock, and doing crafts, most recently making concrete ornaments. She was devoted to her husband and the perfect mother. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Allen of Hillman; sons, Nicholas (Kaylee) Allen of Hillman; Tyler (Lizz) Allen of Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Angelika and Lilly; and sisters, Deborah Brink of Lawton, Oklahoma; and Linda (Richard) Lounsberry of Hillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Betty Felsner; and brothers, Raymond and Harry Felsner.

A mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Allen will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman; Fr. Michael Conner officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Visitation will take place again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
